Michael Camastro began his golf journey over 28 years ago, immersing himself in every level of the game. A standout moment in his career was his victory at the 2017 Illinois PGA Senior Match Play, followed by being named the 2023 Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year. Yet, despite his personal success, Michael’s true calling has always been teaching others to play golf—and to play it well.

As the founder of the Players Elite Golf Academy in 1998, Michael has been transforming junior golfers into champions for over two decades. Known throughout Illinois as one of the top golf instructors, he brings a 100% commitment to developing winners. This dedication has led to incredible student achievements, including All-Americans, NCAA Championship team members, state qualifiers, and over 500 junior tournament wins, with top placements in the IJGA, MAJGT, and Hurricane tours. Today, Michael also works with elite players competing on the Latin American Tour, Korn Ferry, and Canadian PGA circuits.
